Since we were not able to finish the Bible study, Follow Me: Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of John, presented by Dr. Edward Sri in 2020 due to COVID, let’s try again in 2021.
Each of the EIGHT sessions will have a 30-minute DVD presentation followed by a 30-minute group discussion on the session’s questions (which we will watch & discuss together through ZOOM online).
Sessions will be held online (ZOOM) on Tuesdays, beginning February 9 through March 30, from 9:45am to 10:45am. (9:45am start to allow participants to attend daily Mass & arrive home)
Schedule 2021 - February 9, 16, 23 and March 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30.
**If you did not participate in 2020, please feel free to join in 2021. Visit Ascensionpress.com to purchase the Follow Me workbook. (It is the same workbook as in 2020; No need to purchase new one.)

~ On Formed.org, listen to The Search. What is this journey in between the event we call “birth” and the one we call “death”? Is the journey taking you somewhere, or are you leading yourself to some kind of destination – a destination that could extend beyond your last breath? What do you want from your life during the in between? The questions are there. And, the answers are too.

We’re all feeling an absence. What can we do if we’re unable to attend Mass and receive the Eucharist? Remember, Jesus is still present in His Church—in tabernacles, with His priests, and, in a very real and powerful way, in Scripture.
This is an opportunity for great spiritual growth. Take advantage of this time to increase your devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, explore the richness of Sacred Scripture, and deepen your understanding of the faith. On this page, you’ll find all the resources you need to continue growing with the Lord no matter where you are.
Please enjoy these resources and share them with your friends and family, so as to be a beacon of hope in these dark times.
Wednesdays at 7:00PM ~ Cancelled until further notice
No RSVP (you may just come & enjoy)
STUDY TOPIC: Every Sunday at Mass, Catholics around the world hear 3 or 4 passages from the Bible. We end up listening to hundreds of passages from Scripture. Join us weekly as Dr. Brant Pitre takes us for an in-depth Bible study on the Gospel readings, connecting them with the Old Testament reading and Responsorial Psalm for each Sunday Mass.
~ You will learn the meaning of passages, why the various readings were chosen and put together, and how the Old Testament reading points forward to the New Testament and how the New Testament fulfills the Old.
~ Understand the Biblical roots of the Catholic faith and how the readings that are given to us each week are meant to be applied to our daily lives, walking with Christ as Disciples of the Lord.
